This will be the last time I post before Christmas as I don’t intend to waste my day blogging about Lacrosse when I could be playing with the new equipment I hope to get on the 25th!! So with that in mind, I will start by wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope Santa brings you all the Lax-mas gifts you desire.

Being back in Cornwall now after a very long first term in Bournemouth has given me a welcome break and opportunity to reflect on all that has gone on Lacrosse-wise up to this point. This is a weekly video update from INTO Lacrosse coach Will Finlayson who is one of many who travels around the country coaching the sport in order for English Lacrosse’s four year plan of National coverage to come to fruition. Thanks to funding from government bodies such as Sport England and UK sport this type of weekly coaching has been made possible. This week see’s Will travel to coach the Bath ladies before their game against local rivals Bristol, before travelling up to Bournemouth to coach us newbies!

Just a quick video here of the first INTO Lacrosse tournament held earlier this year, including our very own Bournemouth team. INTOLacrosse are the people who are attempting to bring Lacrosse to the forefront of UK sport and are doing a sterling job of it with us, especially our coach Will. Anyway here’s the footage, including some highlights (lowlights) of my first attempt at goaltending!

Wow! What a day of Lacrosse that was yesterday. I’m gonna start this week off by congratulating the BULC lads for their fine display in the tournament in Trowbridge on Sunday after playing four, losing none and winning only our second game this season – even if it was in a freshers tournament – they all count. With a bit more luck in the last game we could have even won the whole thing, but we should still be proud, especially my dogged defence who kept no less than three clean sheets.

Anyway, away from the team and back to the reason this blog started in the first place – ME!
